Color my life……………….

This workshop has been a great experience, great people, wonderful subject matter, and a lot of fun!  I’ve thought often over the passed few days just how blessed I am and what wonderful color God has brought into my life!  Today I sought to find all manner of color, from knock your socks off to subtle, enjoy!

All images with the Fui X-T1 and 18-55 lens.

Blessings,

Nice work…thanks for helping me me see how you used the light in those shots! Shade and full sun…each to its proper purpose! Can’t wait to wLk with you all again!

Bill: Is there much post processing here? Are you using Raw or HDR on any of the shots? I love the Fuji X line of cameras (I have two XE1s and a 100S) but their auto bracketing sure isn’t the best for HDR. I know we can do it manually but it is an extra step.
Anyway the main point is to thank you for continuing to inspire (on both Photographic and Spiritual fronts) and posting in such an honest open manner. Keep doing what your doing.

    Best Regards

Quick question on post processing. I am currently using PS6 and have been experimenting with Photo Ninja, what processor are you having the best luck with for your processing. I’m still using the now ancient xe1. Lovely work by the way.
    thanks in advance

    Thanks Karla,
I like Photo Ninja and Iridient both equally well, right now I would rank either above the Adobe products, but I shoot mostly jpegs and use CS6 for them , which works great! I think Adobe will catch up!

More superb images . Hope I can fly out to Old Car City some time.

FYI…I’ve been processing my Fuji raw files with Photo Ninja too … at least when I shoot raw now. I’ve found the Fuji jpegs to be remarkable. With my Canon and Nikon systems I always had to shoot in raw for the best possible images …. not necessary with my X100S and X-T1.

      Bob,
I’ve had the same experience! I only shoot RAW when I’m challenged by the white balance.
You need to get to Old Car City, it’s fantastic! I hope to add another workshop there in the late fall!

I see you got over to get a shot of the pharmacy, had one I was going to share with you. You do those type of detail shots so well. That is something I still need to work on. Old Car City again in the fall, hmmmm…….

Bill, It is nice to hear that you soot JPEG as well as RAW at times. I have some friends that insist that RAW is the only way to go to get good results. Nice to see you getting great results from JPEG right out of the camera!!
