You never know……….

You never know!  I had a program, at the Kelby Media stage this afternoon, in the midst of the concofany of noise, other speakers, people talking loud, every possible distraction, and after the first two shows they turned my sound (music) down because it was too loud for the guy lecturing 15 feet away.  Hey I didn’t blame him, I couldn’t hear myself think either.  I was pretty sure the program of slide shows had fallen on it’s face!  Shockingly a pretty long line of folks came up to say they really enjoyed it, shocking!!!!!  The last person was beautiful young lady who was a scholarship student to Photoshop World from Canada.  She fought back tears to tell me that God had used the program to answer some prayers she had been praying.  I stood there dumbfounded!  It never ceases to amaze me just how God know the needs of those in an audience and moves through the Holy Spirit to touch their lives.  I take no credit, how could I???  I was thinking I had wasted their time this afternoon!

You never know……….. but He does!!!  Praise God for my ignorance and His compassion and love!!!!

Blessings,

the pilgrim

Does anyone know how to spell concofany???  Can’t find it anywhere!

Well, Glory to God, our Father! Glad you did not quit too soon. You still have a message and it is getting out. Love your blog.

The best o received during that conference came from The Lord through what he has given you until now. And I believe he might have taken me from Panama to that conference to receive what he put in your heart. I praise him for that.
Needed to say it before going back to My country today.

cacophony – A harsh, discordant mixture of sounds: “a cacophony of deafening alarm bells”; “a cacophony of architectural styles”.

That a boy, you just keep on planting those seeds and stand back and get out of the way….Isn’t it amazing to see how God weaves the paths of his people together.

  4. That is such a cool story – I love it. It’s the Lord at work. He manifests through us “a sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place” (2 Cor. 2:14). I often think about Corrie ten Boom in her last 5 years when she couldn’t even speak, and yet the Lord in her was still winning people to Himself. Praise the Lord for that!! Amazing how God can use us when we are available even in the most adverse of situations.

It was definitely a blessing for me coming across all your sharings and for some reason (which I knew later were coming from the direction of The Lord)… I ended up in that moment and althought they had turned the audio off your songs, they couldn’t turned off te sound of the Holy Spirit that day.
I came all the way from Panama (maybe it sounded like Canada hehe, which I surely want to visit some day) without knowing what I would find. So I kept praying about it, together with some other friends that were praying for me , for God to do whatever he wanted and help me listen to his the sound of his voice.
That day I kind of wanted to listen to him, as I was feeling a bit lonely, and somehow awaiting for Him to talk to me… So it happened that day. And the rest… Well… He knows better. I just want to be an instrument of his grace the way Bill has been for me, and for many others I believe. And let others know the power of the glory of The Lord through the sound of the colors of his creation and his voice through music and through photography.
He’s got more to say, and I’ll be waiting and moving by faith while he continues to work and I continue to grow.
The next day I could still feel the work of the Holy Spirit that even I tried to share these words but I couldn’t manage to talk (although I had no idea of what The Lord was yet doing, but I knew He was there working, and I couldn’t hold my tears to that…)
Let us keep standing on the Rock.
    Blessings

I couldn’t believe it either when they turned the speakers down but the theaters were too close this time. Nonetheless, I managed to catch all 3 of your classes and although I’m familiar with your work, I sat enthralled like the rest of your audience.

Godd Bless you Bill and I hope to see you at many more Photoshop Worlds!
