the pink bicycle….

10 years, 10 months ago 13

I was running errands today and I saw it, a pink painted bicycle at a thrift shop on the side of the road.  I had to jump out and try to get an image!  This is the beginning of new excitement for the craft I’ve loved so much for such a long, long time!  I’ve wondered how life after Nikon would be, today as silly as it sounds, I got kind of a promise, the visual excitement has never left, but the joy is intensifying!

I hope you guys have a great weekend, I will, with dreams of an exciting visual future.

Be blessed my friends,

the pilgrim

O.K.  Maybe it wasn’t so wonderful, but the increased visual excitement was!  Isn’t it fun to feel excitement!

    Bill,
Thought of you today. Leaving the workforce as we’ve known it is both scary and exhilarating, but I can tell you without a doubt, retirement’s the best damn job I ever had! God bless you!

I’ve retired twice. The 1st was after 21 years in the Air Force, that was in 1986. The 2nd retirement was this past December, 2012. Even after retirement, God still provides.

A pink bicycle is definitely the promise of much to come! I can imagine the excitement, along with some anxiety, you must be feeling. I am planning for my retirement in a year or two and expect to be experiencing some conflicting emotions. Enjoy the next phase of your life!!

Bill…I think you are not retiring as most people are. You’re just involved in a realignment. After years of preparation, you are now in a position where God is the CEO of your business and personal life simulataneously. Hence pink bicycles, warm conversations at new photographic delights with people of God, and spreading his word by deed are on your timecard now. Enjoy your blessing!

Hello brother! Praying that God will continue to bless you! Everybody always gives such a great and positive testimony of you — evidence of God working in and through you for His glory!

Sounds like you will continue to be very busy — shining your light!!

I am back in Russia — heading into some very exciting ministry weeks ahead serving in outreach camps…one of them to an unreached people group…need lots of prayer!

    Blessings,
    Ken

Bill, congratulations on your retirement…wait. Congrtulations on your new beginnings! I will miss you when you are not able to show for the annual ISAP symposiums. But I will tell you, you truly touched me with how you always treated me and everyone else. For that I am thankful to say that I know you as a friend. God bless.
